Help us fix this format — copy an anonymous report
This report describes only the layout we found: bank, page count, column types, row counts and which checks failed. It contains no names, account numbers, amounts, dates or narrations. Nothing is sent automatically; you decide whether to share it.
Which statements work?
- State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank — experimental. Tested on synthetic sample statements; verification against real statements is in progress.
- Other banks — the converter may still read them, but they are unverified. Always rely on the balance check.
- Scanned or photographed statements are not supported. Download the e-statement from net banking instead.
How the balance check works
For every row, StatementSieve checks that the previous balance plus credits minus debits equals the balance printed on the statement. If a row was misread or skipped, the numbers stop adding up and that row is marked MISMATCH. Rows that can't be checked are marked UNVERIFIED. Exported files include this check in a separate column and a Summary sheet.
